Ekta Kapoor Shares An Adorable Picture Of Laksshya Kapoor Watching His Baby Brother Ravie

Indian film and television baron Ekta Kapoor welcomed her little bundle of joy, a baby boy, on 27 January 2019. The 43-year-old TV czarina achieved motherhood through surrogacy, and the baby is home with his family now.

Ekta has named her son Ravie, which is her father Jeetendra’s real name. She announced the name of her son through an Instagram post which said, “By God’s grace, I have seen many successes in my life, but nothing beats the feeling of this beautiful soul being added in my world. I cannot even begin to express how happy my baby’s birth has made me. Everything in life doesn’t go the way you want it to but there are always solutions to those hiccups. I found mine and today I feel immensely blessed to become a parent. It is an emotional moment for me and my family and I can’t wait to begin this new journey of being a mother to my little bundle of joy, Ravie Kapoor. – Ekta Kapoor”.

With the arrival of the little one, the entire Kapoor clan in on cloud nine since these days, especially Ekta’s nephew, Laksshya, who now has a baby brother to play with. On Sunday, Ekta shared a beautiful picture of her tiny tot and her nephew Laksshya Kapoor. In the picure, Laksshya is holding Ravie’s crib and looking at Ravie with an innocent smile:

Isn’t that an adorable picture? Ekta captioned it beautifully: “Big Brother Is Watchinggg!”

Tusshar too was born through surrogacy as his father, Tusshar Kapoor, had opted this medical technique in 2016 to achieve parenthood.  

Ekta was trying to become since seven years. In a statement, Dr. Nandita Palshetkar, who guided Ekta throughout the process, said, “Ekta Kapoor came to me some years back to become a mother. We tried to help her get pregnant with multiple cycles of intrauterine insemination (IUI) and also multiple cycles of In vitro fertilisation (IVF). But we were unsuccessful. Hence, we had to take help of the technique of surrogacy which we performed nine months back at our Bloom IVF centre. Nine months later, she has achieved success with the birth of a child on Sunday.”
